The world's tallest man is Robert Pershing Wadlow. He's in the Guiness book of World records. Robert was born February 22, 1918. He was born in Alton, Illinois. At birth Robert had normal weight and height but had pituitary problems. The pituitary problems led to outsize growth. At age 8 he was 6 feet tall. When he reached age 16 Robert stood 7 feet 10 inches. Later on, Robert reached 8 feet and 11 inches. Robert weighed over 370 pounds. When Robert was 22 he past away. He passed away on July 15, 1940. The cause of his death was due to blisters.
